Participants Needed for Research Study on Impact of Concussion on Word Finding

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at East Stroudsburg University is seeking participants for a research study on the impact of concussion on word-finding ability.

Participants, both with or without a history of concussion, must be between 18-24 years old and may not have a history of speech and language therapy, a history of learning disabilities, unaided hearing loss, or uncorrected vision.

Volunteers will be asked to complete a survey and participate in a hearing screening and assessment regarding word-finding ability

The research study, which will help further understand the effects of one or more concussions on word-finding ability, will involve one 45-minute session at the Speech and Hearing Center located in Monroe Hall on the campus of ESU.
